Echoes in My Hull

Echoes in my Hull is a solo game where you will record the events of a journey through space. You won't be recording these events as a captain of a ship or a mechanic keeping the whole operation working.

No, you will be tracking the events through the perspective of the ship itself.

Will you be filled with a raucous crew of illegal smugglers? Will your hull be occupied by young explorers finding love in places they didn't expect? You will decide who comes along with you. After that, it is up to the Fates. Or in this case the cards.

Speaking of...

Echoes in my Hull is a story told with Tarot Cards. Each card has a special meaning whether you draw it upright or reversed. The book offers only a generalized meaning. It will be up to you to decide how the card is to be interpreted and in what way that interpretation applies to the crew you have made.

To play this game, you will need:

• A Deck of Tarot Cards
• A Journal or Word Processing application
• Your Imagination

Note: if you don’t own a deck of Tarot cards, there are simulators online which can draw for you, however, because of the unique way this game is set up, they will not work.

A note on the book versions: The first version uses a font for the main body text known as OpenDyslexic, a typeface specifically geared towards being more readable for those with dyslexia. This font may not appeal to all, but I wanted the default to be ready for those with the learning disorder. The alternative version uses a font closer to the title text and some readers may find it easier for them.
